MANILA, Philippines – Classes are suspended (#WalangPasok) in the following areas on September 12, 2018, Wednesday, due to Typhoon Mangkhut (Ompong).
JTWC has classified Mangkhut as a Super Typhoon. Expected rains and thunderstorms would be experienced as Typhoon Ompong moves towards the Philippines. It could retain its super typhoon strength, if it doesn’t weaken when it hits land tomorrow.

Dagupan City – Np classes in all levels in both private and public schools on September 14 and 15, 2018, Friday and Saturday.
Dolores, Abra – No classes in all levels in both public and private schools on September 13 and 14, Thursday and Friday.
Tuao, Cagayan – No classes in all levels both public and private schools, on September 13, Thursday, including work offices on September 14, Friday.
Ilocos Norte – No classes in all levels in both public and private schools, as well as work on September 13 and 14, 2018, Thursday and Friday.
Governor Imee Marcos has ordered the suspension of classes in ALL LEVELS, and work in public and private sectors in Ilocos Norte on September 13 and 14, 2018, Thursday and Friday, respectively in preparation for Typhoon Mangkhut.
This is in anticipation of the incoming onslaught of Typhoon Ompong. Other school administrators should follow suit. Please don’t let your students be drenched in the rain. They’re not waterproof.
