MANILA, Philippines – There will be no classes and offices nationwide on August 21, Tuesday because of the observance of Eid’l Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).
Proclamation 556 was released on Wednesday as the President approved of the regular holiday. Incidentally it’s also the Ninoy Aquino Day.
This regular holiday comes after the spate of class suspensions (August 13, 14 and 15) due to continuous rainfall and massive flooding.
Tomorrow, however, more provinces will resume classes as the heavy monsoon rains have ceased to inundate the country.
For more information on class suspensions tomorrow, watch out for updates on this post.
