American R&B Singer, Natalie Cole, Dies at 65

American Jazz and R&B Singer, Natalie Cole, has succumbed to death on Thursday, December 31, 2015 in a hospital in Los Angeles, California at the age of 65.

Natalie is the daughter of an equally famous singer, Nat “King” Cole. Natalie is a recipient of numerous awards as a singer. Among them are 9 Grammy Awards and 21 nominations during her colorful career as a singer and songwriter. She also went on to acting on television.

Entertainment news reported that she suffered from Hepatitis C and had battled drugs and a kidney transplant. She died of congestive heart failure.
She popularized songs such as, ‘This Will Be’, ‘Inseparable’, ‘Miss You Like Crazy, and ‘Starting Over Again’.

Her son, Robert Yancy, said:

“Natalie fought a fierce, courageous battle, dying how she lived with dignity, strength and honour. Our beloved mother and sister will be greatly missed and remain unforgettable in our hearts forever.”
