After the terrorists attack on France the rock band, Eagles of Death Metal, returned to Paris to perform with the U2 band on December 7, 2015. Tweeterpeeps called the band’s comeback, the “ultimate encore.”
Eagles of Death Metal’s previous concert at the Bataclan venue in Paris had been cancelled because it was one of the spots that the terrorists targeted last November 13, 2015.
On the other hand, it was the encore performance of the U2 Band. Bono, the lead singer of U2 said:
“They were robbed of their stage three weeks ago, and we would like to offer them ours tonight.”
It was an emotional performance for the bands because of their previous nerve-wracking experience. They sang Patti Smith’s “People Have the Power” with the audience, perhaps, expressing their solidarity against terrorism.
