Miss Philippines, Angelia Ong, won the title of Miss Earth 2015 in Vienna, Austria last December 5, 2015.
In 2014, Miss Earth Philippines, Jamie Herrell, had also won the competition, making it a back-to-back win for the Philippines for two consecutive years.
The Philippines’ delegates rejoiced as Herrell passed on the crown to Ong.

On Miss Earth’s Facebook page, this message was posted:
