MANILA, Philippines – Yaya Dub’s voice was finally heard when she, Lola Nidora and some of Aldub’s cast received the Catholic Social Media Awards for Eat Bulaga’s ALDUB Kalye Serye last Sunday, October 11 2015.
The fans went wild when Yaya Dub held the microphone to speak. (As part of the TV series, her genuine voice was never heard because she has to dubsmash all her dialogues.) She had to place a finger to her lips to instruct the fans to settle down. The fans obliged promptly. That’s how charismatic her personality is.
Yaya Dub said:
“Maraming maraming salamat po.”
(Thanks a lot) She had to stop momentarily because the fans screamed with glee.
Yaya Dub continued:
“Aldub you all.” (I love you all.)
Lola Nidora then stated:
“Hello, hello, magandang gabi sa inyong lahat. Kasama ko po si Yaya Dub, at si Alden nasa Japan. Ang Kalye Serye ay patuloy pong magbibigay ng daan makapagbahagi ng mga tamang asal. Ang pagmamahal sa kapwa ay pagmamahal sa Diyos. Maraming maraming salamat po. Eto na po ang tamang panahon.”
(Hello, hello, good evening to everyone. Yaya Dub is here with me and Alden is in Japan. The “Kalye Serye” will continue featuring good manners and right conduct. Loving your fellowmen, is loving God. Thank you very much. This is the right time.”)
Yaya Dub’s parting message:
“Maraming maraming salamat ALDUB nation. Para sa inyo po ito. Para sa inyong lahat.” (Thanks a lot, ALDUB Nation. This is for you. This is for all of you.)
It’s the first media award given by the Catholic Media Awards to a TV show.
