An Internet App, “Sing! Karaoke” has made the duet of Pop Star Jessie J and Filipina Zendee Rose Tenerefe possible, and now the video of the duet “Flashlight” on YouTube is going viral with more than a hundred thousand hits in just 2 days.
Jessie J is a household name in the entertainment industry, being a Grammy nominee and a judge in the Australian version of The Voice. Her latest hit, “Flashlight”, is one of the songs in the soundtrack of Pitch Perfect 2.
Zendee, on the other hand, made her debut through YouTube. International singing sensation, Charice Pempengco, Journey’s lead singer, Arnel Pineda, and many more Filipino artists had their international singing careers initiated from a video on YouTube, as well.
In the video, Jessie J and Zendee Rose Tenerefe nailed “Flashlight” with ease and aplomb. Their voices blended together like coffee and cream. It was a superb display of talent.
Incidentally, Zendee Rose Tenerefe has previously guested on the “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, just like the other Pinoy talents discovered on YouTube.
