MANILA, Philippines – Freddie Aguilar’s “Anak” is an international hit in the 1980s, with the song being translated in 27 languages all over the world.
“Anak” continues to reap success as numerous interpretations were done by various local singers such as, Gary Valenciano, Sharon Cuneta, and Regine Velasquez.
Recently, a video of two foreigners performing the song on a Rooftop on one of Cavite’s poorest areas was posted on YouTube. It’s starting to become viral as more netizens shared their commendable rendition of “Anak” on social networks.
The duo is composed of a pretty Russian girl, Anna Rabtsun, and an American, David DiMuzio.
David DiMuzio is a singer, songwriter and composer, and has already interpreted many Filipino songs. He also performed other Filipino songs with some popular local singers.
He has significant following in the Philippines and around the world because of his notable performances of Original Filipino songs.
