The 14-year old Pinay powerhouse, Marlisa Punzalan, was among the X Factor Australia Top 12 Contestants, who advanced to the Live Shows of the popular reality singing competition.
Marlisa is under Team Ronan. Coach Ronan Keating has repeatedly expressed his belief in Marliza, saying she could win the competition for him.

Incidentally, another Pinay, Mary Ann Van Der Horst, who was a strong contender during the auditions, was previously eliminated.
