According to the foundation, the song video teaches people, especially children, how to help those in need.

“This song/video hopes to broaden the awareness of issues that we need to respond to and involves even the youngest members of our society.”

Arnel Pineda came from humble beginnings, and had experienced first-hand how it was to be a street kid, hungry and homeless. So when Lady Luck smiled at him and gave him fame and fortune, he started helping people through his foundation. Arnel revealed that it is his way of paying forward all the blessings he has received.

Since he became the lead vocalist of Journey, his foundation has been helping street children with whatever donations the foundation received. After the onslaught of Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan), Journey donated $350,000.00 to the devastated areas. Arnel Pineda’s foundation has been visiting these areas to help the needy, as well.

The sales of “Listen With Your Heart”, a thank you song to all the countries that donated for Haiyan survivors, are also for the benefit of the people in areas devastated by the strongest typhoon in the world. Arnel Pineda and various artists performed this beautiful song of hope.

If you want to extend assistance to the Typhoon Haiyan survivors, you can do so by downloading the song on iTunes.
