Filipino, Michael Christian Martinez, has topped the Qualifier Round for the Triglav Trophy Competition in Slovenia. He is the youngest skater to participate in the prestigious competition.
Reportedly, the Winter Olympian was not totally well from his injuries but he still ranked 1 in the recently concluded qualifying rounds.
Michael received a hero’s welcome when he went back to Manila after the Winter Olympics in Sochi. He made history by being the first Filipino and Southeast Asian to compete in the Winter Olympics.
Hopefully, Michael Christian Martinez would maintain his lead and win the gold medal in the Triglav Trophy Competition in Slovenia this April 2014.
