Filipino composer, husband and wife team, Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, win Best Original Song at the Oscars 2014 for “Let It Go” from the film “Frozen.” Robert Lopez is the first Fil-Am to win in the prestigious awards.

Another Filipino, Oliver Tolentino, has also figured prominently in the Academy Awards by designing gowns for the Hollywood celebrities. This time for the beautiful actress, Jennifer Lee.

Let It Go” is only one of the songs in “Frozen” and was sung by Idina Menzel.
