The Top 13 American Idol contestants were revealed after the public votes came in, and understandably, not everyone agreed with America’s choices. Only one of the two Filipino-American contenders made it to Top 13. Malaya Watson has advanced farther to the next round while Marialle Sellers was eliminated.
Season 12’s winner, Candice Glover, is set to perform on the next result’s show on Thursday, February 27, 2014.
Spencer Lloyd, who was growing to be one of the most popular contestants, was shockingly eliminated from the Top 13.

The theme for next week’s show is “This is Me,” where the Top 13 American Idols would, apparently, reveal a part of themselves through their music. The Top 13 will perform, and then 1 of them would be voted off.
There is also a new way to vote for your favorite contestants making use of Google. According to American Idol:
“Viewers can also vote online at AmericanIdol.com; via the AMERICAN IDOL App; via text messaging; and via toll-free calling.”
