Actor-TV host Vhong Navarro Reveals Lessons Learned from Mauling Incident: “Be faithful and don’t trust just anyone”

MANILA, PhilippinesActor-TV host Vhong Navarro has revealed during an interview with Korina Sanchez that he has learned two lessons from his mauling incident:Be faithful and don’t trust anyone so easily.”  “Dapat maging faithful (“You should be faithful”, referring to his girlfriend)…Hindi natin alam kung sino ang kaibigan at kung sino ang kaaway.” (We could not determine who the enemy is, and who the friend is.)

Vhong has also been released from St. Luke’s Medical Center, and has proceeded to the Department of Justice.

In another interview, Vhong Navarro stated that he could not yet forgive Deniece Cornejo, Cedric Lee, and the other suspects who had mauled him. He insisted that someone should go to jail for what happened to him.

The condo’s CCTV released by the NBI confirms the actor’s testimony about the incident. Witnesses’ statements, also, coincides with Vhong Navarro’s statements; they have not heard screams; the group of Cedric Lee appeared well-organized. These observations contradict Deniece Cornejo and Cedric Lee’s claim that Vhong Navarro attempted to rape her.

Online, more than 90% of Netizens believed Vhong Navarro’s story. Some fans were enraged and had expressed their disgust of Deniece Cornejo.

A re-enactment of the mauling incident in the condo is also planned by the NBI. Fans shouted their support as Vhong Navarro appeared for the first time outside of the hospital. He expressed his gratitude to his fans, friends and family, who, according to him, have always been there for him.
