MANILA, Philippines – Ex-presidents Fidel V. Ramos and Joseph Estrada visited another ex-president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (GMA)  at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center, where she is in hospital detention, may have caused alarm to the opposition because Malacanang Palace is now denying any alliance between the three ex-presidents.

Other known personalities who visited GMA were retired Archbishop Oscar Cruz (a previous staunch critic of GMA) GMA’s former Vice President, Noli de Castro, and Bro. Eddie Villanueva.

Archbishop Cruz stated that the current Philippine government is not only prosecuting ex-president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo but persecuting her as well.

The senate has passed the decision to the Sandigan Bayan whether to put GMA under house arrest, instead.

GMA has been silently and stoically suffering under hospital arrest with her charges dragging on, and people are beginning to notice the ‘injustice’ of the circumstances; the ex-president has still to be convicted of a crime.
