MANILA, Philippines – Tony awardee, actress-singer Lea Salonga, is set to perform at the PICC Plenary Hall on January 18, 2014 for her “A Celebration of 35 Years” Concert.
Lea Salonga’s career is still going strong at the moment, and her fame is expected to last longer than her contemporaries. Her popularity peaked when she starred as Kim in the longest running stage play, “Miss Saigon.” In the stage play, she blossomed into a seasoned performer and had received various awards for her role as a Vietnamese girl in love with an American soldier.
Lea Salonga acted as a judge in season 1 – one of the favorites – of the reality singing competition, The Voice of the Philippines, too. Lea does not seem to age through the years, and her voice is still as powerful, as ever.
