MANILA, Philippines – The 39th Metro Manila Film Festival 2013 entries come from a mixture of comedy, action and drama films.

The following are the Metro Manila Film Festival 2013 Entries:

  • “10,000 Hours”
  • “Pagpag”
  • “Kimmy Dora: Ang Kiyemeng Prequel”
  • “Boy Golden: The Arturo Porcuna Story”
  • “Kaleidoscope World”
  • “Pedro Calungsod: Batang Martir”
  • “Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy”
  • “My Little Bossings,

The Metro Manila Film Festival 2013 Parade of Stars would be on Sunday, December 22, 2013. The New Wave section is currently making “waves’ because it would feature short films by independent film makers.

Reportedly, the following are included in the New Wave short list:

  • ·         Island Dreams
  • ·         Saka Saka
  • ·         Ang Maestra
  • ·         Dukit
  • ·         Mga Anino ng Kahapon

The strong contenders and pedictions for the MMFF main competing films are:

KC Concepcion for Best Actress for the film “Boy Golden”, Daniel Padilla for Best Actor for “Pagpag,” or it could also be Robin Padilla for Best Actor for “10,000 Hours.”
