MANILA, Philippines – More than 100 Filipino Stars performed in the ABS-CBN Christmas Special #TulongPH Concert for Haiyan survivors held at the Araneta Coliseum last December 10, 2013. This ABS-CBN’s Christmas Special: Kwento Ng Pasko, Pagasa at Pagbangon would benefit the typhoon Haiyan survivors.
Some of the big name stars were Arnel Pineda of international rock band Journey; Pop Star Sarah Geronimo; Mr. Pure Energy, Gary Valenciano; Teen Heart-throb, Daniel Padilla; Tony award winner, Lea Salonga; Music Icon, Martin Nievera, Twitter Queen, Anne Curtis; previous Box Office Drawer, John Lloyd Cruz; and The Voice Winner, Mitoy Yonting.
It was a fully-packed and well applauded show with fans cheering happily for their idols. Incidentally, Justin Bieber and Jessica Sanchez were also in the country to show their support for the typhoon Haiyan victims.
