MANILA, Philippines – Days after the official confirmation of their break-up, Lucky Manzano and Jennylyn Mercado still remain mum about the reasons why they broke up. Reportedly, Lucky Manzano requested the media:
“We want to keep things private.”
Some entertainment reports have linked the two to other personalities, even when Lucky Manzano specifically stated that there were no third parties involved; October 18 was supposed to be their second anniversary as couples.
On the other hand, it was Angel Locsin, who tweeted from her official Twitter account that she and Azkals player Phil Younghusband have decided to call it quits.
Both couples have disclosed that the decision was mutual, and they have not revealed the reasons why, thus leaving their fans in the dark.
Fans could only surmise what the true reasons are. Here are conjectures as to why Lucky Manzano and Jennylyn Mercado, Angel Locsin and Phil Younghusband broke up:
* Irreconcilable differences
They woke up one day and realized that their hobbies and habits do not match or complement each other.
* Mental disparity
Mental intercourse does not happen because they have mental disparity. Their IQs do not fall in the same category, so they do not converse in the same level. They would have lots of misunderstandings because what is plain water to one partner may be H2O to the other.
* Guiding principles and beliefs in life are not harmonious with each other
Their guiding principles and beliefs in life may not be harmonious with each other; the other believes in being a vegetarian, while the other believes that meat is essential for his/her health.
* It was only an infatuation
True love would persevere and would try to mend the patches of misunderstanding-no matter what. If they could not meet for a compromise, and they are not willing to do everything in their power to stay together, then perhaps, they still have not met their Mr. /Ms. Right. What is positive about the occurrence, however, is the fact that they could still sever their bonds because they have not yet legally tied the knot.
* The presence of third parties
This reason has been denied by Lucky Manzano and Angel Locsin, though. What would happen in the future would remain to be seen though.
These are only conjectures, of course, but die-hard fans are hoping for a reconciliation between Lucky Manzano – Jennylyn Mercado, and Angel Locsin – Phil Younghusband in the future. One cannot blame the fans; they idolize these two love teams, see themselves in them, wishing that ‘happily-ever-after’ endings do exist.
