MANILA, Philippines – Filipino girl Katrina Velarde’s viral video on YouTube was shared by American Rapper-Singer Chris Brown.
Katrina Velarde is a member of AKA JAM, one of the finalists, on X-Factor Philippines Season 1. In the video she was using a hair purple brush/comb as her microphone that is why she was tagged as “Ms. Suklay” (Miss Comb) or “Suklay Diva” (Comb Diva).
Katrina Velarde’s video went viral for the simple reason that her voice is phenomenal. In her video she sang “Dangerously in Love” by Beyonce. She also sang “Love on Top” by Beyonce, and “Butterfly” by Mariah Carey. She was selected as Female Talent of the Week on worldstarhiphop.com.
