Charlie Hunnam has voluntarily backed out as the lead role, Christian Grey, in ‘Fifty Shades of Grey,” Charlie Hunnam has recently starred in “Sons of Anarchy”, and has been the talk of the town even before he started shooting ‘Fifty Shades of Grey.” The actor, however, backed out, so who would replace him?
There are several well-known actors who could portray Christian Grey convincingly, with a touch of arrogance and sex-appeal that fans would surely love. “Twilight’s Robert Pattinson could play the role, or Ryan Gosling of “Notebook.” Bradley Cooper could also act as Christian Grey.
There is one actor, however, that has all the strapping of a Christian Grey; tall, handsome, muscular and self-confident. That would be Stephen Amell of the TV series- “Arrow.”
The question though, is that Stephen Amell has built his career as an action star, so there goes the glitch. It would surely be a challenging role, and a way to prove his versatility as an actor, however, should he be cast as Christian Grey.
Wouldn’t it be awesome to have him as Christian Grey in ‘Fifty Shades of Grey”, in place of Charlie Hunnam? This is only a fan’s opinion.
