MANILA, Philippines – Some schools have already announced their Class Suspensions for Tuesday, August 20, 2013 as rains continue to pound Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
Reportedly, PAGASA has warned residents, especially those in Central Luzon, “to remain vigilant as heavy to intense rainfall over the region is expected based on weather map” due to Typhoon ‘Maring.’

Classes are suspended in:
- All levels in public and private schools in Cavite
- All levels in Colegio De San Agustin, Binan, Laguna
- Classes and Office operations in FEU Manila, FEU East Asia College and FEU Makati
- All levels in Perpetual Help College of Manila
- All levels University of Perpetual Help, Binan, Laguna
- University of Santo Tomas, College of Engineering only
