MANILA, Philippines – Malacanang announced Class Suspensions (Walang Pasok) as Tropical Storm Maring bring in more rains, causing floods all over Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
The La Mesa Dam is on red alert as water levels reached 79.69m as of 6 a.m. today. The spilling level of the dam is 80.15m, meaning just 0.46m more and the dam will start to spill and cause more floods.
The following are Class Suspensions (Walang Pasok) Announcements by Malacanang Palace through Twitter:
- No work in government offices in Metro Manila except those involved in disaster response
- ALL classes in Benguet, Bataan, Pangasinan, Zambales, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Bulacan
- ALL classes in Rizal, Laguna, Metro Manila, Cavite, Occidental Mindoro and Batangas
- All classes suspended in:
