After All These Years” (AATY) was included in Journey’s set list when a fan from Wyoming, Minda Budzinak, requested the song for their CFD concert last July 19, 2013.

Arnel Pineda and the rest of the band members, Neal Schon, Ross Valory, Jonathan Cain and Deen Castronovo agreed to perform it. “After All These Years” is rarely included in the usual Journey set list. So, it was a momentous occasion. Journey’s agreement to perform the song due to a fan’s request was heartwarming.

Journey fans in Wyoming were overjoyed, especially Minda. “After All These Years” is one of Journey’s fans adult contemporary favorites, peaking at No. 9 on the charts. It is part of the “Revelation” album, the first album that went platinum with lead singer, Arnel Pineda.

Minda, however, was not able to video-tape the performance because of technical problems, so the search for that rare, precious video was initiated.

One inspiring incident that happened with the performance of “After All These Years” in Cheyenne was the decision of one of Minda’s friends to use the song as her wedding song.

Special thanks goes also to gijoe2333 who uploaded the video on YouTube and to CheyenneFrontierDays @CheFrontierDays, the official Twitter account for Cheyenne Frontier Days (cfdrodeo.com), for helping find that seemingly elusive but significant video.

Thank you to everyone, who were instrumental in the success of this search. The video may have been taken from quite a distance, but, still, it is a vital document of that momentous day when Journey performed “After All These Years” in Cheyenne, Wyoming on July 19, 2013.
