Typhoon Labuyo Updates as of 5:00 AM August 12, 2013: Suspension of Classes Guidelines

PAGASA DOST has issued these Typhoon Labuyo updates as of 5:00 am August 12, 2013.

Suspension of classes in Schools and Universities would be announced by the corresponding schools’ administrative officers. Students are advised to follow or read advisories of their schools from the schools’ websites,  Twitter or Facebook official accounts.

Angeles University Foundation, Pampanga, has confirmed from its Facebook Page that classes in the college level are not suspended. Pampanga is under Ttropical Warning Signal No. 1 only.

“Classes in elementary and high school at the AUF Integrated School are suspended tomorrow, August 12, due to typhoon Labuyo.

Classes in college will only be suspended when Signal No. 3 is raised in the province. Please monitor PAGASA bulletins for updates. Please share. Thank you.”

The next advisory would be at 11 am on August 13. The Tropical Cyclone Warning issued by PAGASA DOST, from its Facebook Page, has included the following provinces.

Public Storm Signal no. 3:

Cagayan
• Isabela
• Kalinga
• Apayao
• Abra
• Ilocos Norte
• Ilocos Sur
• La Union
• Pangasinan
• Benguet
• Mt. Province
• Ifugao
• Nueva Vizcaya
• Quirino
• Northern Aurora

Public Storm Signal no. 2:

• Rest of Aurora
• Tarlac
• Zambales
• Calayan and Babuyan group of Islands
• Nueva Ecija

Public Storm Signal no. 1:

• Bulacan
• Metro Manila
• Pampanga
• Batanes
• Rizal
• Bataan
• Laguna
• Cavite
• Northern Quezon including Polilo Island

According to PAGASA DOST, the storm signals are applied until the next advisory.
