Journey’s song “Don’t Stop Believin” was performed by Janice Javier and Lance Fabros on the Voice PH Battle Rounds this Saturday, August 10, 2013.
The two contenders have lent a different ‘feel’ to the rock song of Pinoy international rock star, Journey’s frontman, Arnel Pineda, who happens to be the adviser for Team Apl.
The judges loved it saying the two contestants had performed well. They, however, chose Janice for her “powerhouse” voice.
Arnel Pineda, was asked about the performance of the two, and he stated that they have brought the song to a different avenue. He praised both singers, but in the end, though, he chose Janice over Lance.
Coach Apl.de.ap agreed with Arnel that Lance Fabros is a performer but Janice Javier is the voice, so he finally chose Janice as the winner of the Battle Round.
