Derek Ramsay, Cristine Reyes, Heart Evangelista and John Estrada will star in a new movie entitled “Trophy Wife.” Reportedly, a story conference was held last Wednesday, July 31, 2013.
It is the first time that John Estrada would be working with Derek Ramsay and Cristine Reyes. The movie would be directed by award-winning director Elwood Perez. It would surely be another blockbuster in the making.
Derek has been very busy with his “Undercover” TV series, which is presently making waves on evening shows. The series has just started airing last month but TV viewers are already raving about it. “Undercover” also stars action star, Phillip Salvador. The series is directed by Topel Lee.
Derek Ramsay has traveled to the US to receive two awards: “Most Trusted Actor” and “Most Bankable Actor.” The dashing hunk is one of the most bankable actors in Philippine entertainment. The awards were for the movies “A Secret Affair” and “No Other Woman,” for which he was also awarded, locally, the Box Office King title.
In spite of his busy schedule, he still engages in sports. Last Sunday, July 28, he played in the basketball league held at the Makati Coliseum. His loyal fans, dgirls, (complete with a matching banner) were there to root for him.
Derek had an injured finger but he still played splendidly, providing a superb game for his fans. They lost the game but everyone had fun.
What sets Derek Ramsay apart from his contemporaries is his sincere concern for his fans. He treats them as friends and siblings. That is what great stars are made of.
“Trophy Wife” is expected to rake awards and do well in the Box Office.
Derek Ramsay is, indeed, here to stay for several decades more.
