Let’s bow our heads and pray, (in the name of the Father….) Lord, we gather before you to ask for your blessings in this crucial meeting.

May you enlighten us and bestow upon us the divine spirit of your wisdom and omniscience. Allow us to discern that the problems brought up in this meeting are just challenges that would develop and strengthen us as persons.

Help us decide and plan wisely so that we could serve you through our service to others.

Makes us realize that our final goal and objective should be to spread love and bear witness to your name. That in the end, it is you who should be glorified and not our puny efforts for self-aggrandizement.

Lord, We also pray that you bless the outcome of this meeting, so that we would be able to implement whatever would be decided on.

Give us the heart, mind and soul to come up with solutions and suggestions that are truly for the good of the majority. We ask all these in your mighty name, Amen.

Lord, we thank you for the successful conclusion of this meeting. Our hearts praise you for your utmost wisdom in granting us solutions to the problems offered today. As we leave this meeting to proceed to our designated tasks, may your grace be with us as we fulfill our duties and responsibilities. Make us aware that all we do should be to glorify your name.

You taught us to love, to be humble and to see you in others. May we perceive your face in each of our students, our colleagues and the people around us. May we serve you through them and love them as you have loved us. All these we ask in your mighty name, Amen.

Dear Father in heaven,

As we gather here together to celebrate this new year,

May your bountiful blessings come upon our loved ones
and everyone present here in this gathering.

We pray also for those who are not present in our midst.

May you bless them all with peace and happiness.

May all those who suffer in hospital beds feel the soothing balm of your presence.

May all those who suffer in poverty see the richness of your blessings.

Give them the strength and grace to endure and persevere.

We also pray for “peace on earth and goodwill to all men.”

May we continue meeting our daily challenges with faith in your goodness.

May our lives serve as witnesses to your all-abounding generosity and love.
