Lord, as we gather for this Thanksgiving Party, may you bless everyone present here in this occasion. Grant us the wisdom to realize that without You, we would not be able to be successful in our endeavors.

Thank You for bestowing your blessings on our concluded undertaking. You have given us sufficient knowledge and diligence to get the job done.

We know that without your generosity and love, none of these would have come to fruition.

Bless this party so that the camaraderie and unity we have achieved in fulfilling our goals would allow everyone to have fun as well in this Thanksgiving Party.

May you continue blessing us, so that when we go back to our homes, we would also spread the news of good cheer and love that you have give us unconditionally.

Bless all of us here, and everyone outside of this circle so that we would recognize that nothing is impossible with You and nothing is possible without You.

All of these we ask, in Your mighty name. Amen.

Thank you Lord for the fruitful year that we had. We could not thank you enough for your generosity and love.

You have showered us with blessings and challenges to make us stronger. You have always been there in what we believed were our downfalls, but now we know that everything you have given us were stepping stones to be hurdled. We thank you for all of them.

This New Year, may we realize that we should always have faith in whatever you have in store for us. Because deal Lord, you are the ultimate provider and no one could surpass you in your generosity.

We pray for every person in this world, that each would recognize you as their maker and God. We pray also for strength and divine wisdom in all that we do, so all our actions would be to glorify you and spread your good news and love.

Heavenly Father, we are all gathered here for our Christmas Party. May you bless us with your generosity and love so that everyone present here would be able to partake of the joy of your birth.

Allow us to share with one another your all-abounding love, just as you have showed us. Bless all our families, friends and everyone, so that as we enjoy this Christmas party, we would also realize that this is a celebration of your birthday; that Christmas is not about expensive gifts and grand parties but it is about love and generosity to everyone, especially the underprivileged.

Make us realize that in celebrating your birthday, we should also spread joy and love not only here in this party but also when we leave this venue.

Bestow your Divine Wisdom so we would be able to make every day a Christmas day from this day onwards.

Bless this Christmas Party so that everyone will have fun in a Christian atmosphere. We ask all these through your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Dear heavenly Father, we thank you for gatherings all of us today in this important event. May you bestow your guidance and blessings on this event so that we can enjoy and appreciate its significance in our lives. Grant good health and safety to loved ones left at home and  peace and goodwill to all men. May the various activities related to this event be a success, through your intervention.

Heavenly Father, as we stand before you in all humility, may you endow this program with your generous blessings. May all participants and the organizers as well, discern your divine face in the various activities today. Bless also the loved ones left behind, may they be safe and sound. Bless all persons who are in need of your love and mercy in the whole world.

Heavenly Father, we pray today for this seminar we are about to start.

May you enlighten our minds so that we   would be able to absorb and learn everything that the speaker has in store for us.

May you let us see that learning does not only concern adding information to our knowledge but also developing our spirituality and social responsibility from this acquired knowledge.

Give us the strength to apply responsibly what we would be learning for the greater glory of your name. Amen.

Heavenly Father we stand before you humbled and grateful. May you bestow your divine blessings and wisdom so that we can proceed with the matter at hand with fortitude and discernment.

Grant us the grace to accept the ideas of other persons in this group so we could truly come up with a plan that is created by all of us here who are present.

Show us the road to understanding and tolerance so we would know that the world is not about “I”, “me” and “mine,” but more about “they,” “them” and “theirs,” that we should all cooperate to make our plans a success with no one placing himself above the rest, just as you have taught us in Gethsemane.

Teach us to listen to one another and to the persons that we serve. Help us to strive for perfection by loving more our so called enemies and not just our friends and family.

As we start this meeting, we pray that you enlighten us with what you want us to do, by making us realize that it is only through serving others that we could truly serve you.

All this we ask through your son, Christ our Lord. Amen.

This is an opening prayer for students, which is short and could easily be adapted.

Let’s observe a moment of silence. (Pause for a minute) Dear God, we bow our heads in recognition of your divine power and omniscience. We are aware that you are the greatest teacher of all time. May you endow us with your spirit so that we would be able to imbibe what our mentors would be imparting to us.

May we understand not only the valuable information that we receive, but also the deeper, moral meaning it could provide us to become better persons and responsible members of the communities where we live in.

Grant us wisdom to know which knowledge to retain and which ones to eschew.  Allow the everlasting ember of your love; prod us to search for knowledge. Let us realize also that we should do this not for our own selfish ends but to be productive part of the society. In this way we could bear witness to your love and generosity.
