Lauren Alaina’s throat problem during the American Idol 2011 Finale had allegedly made her fans worry about her performance, as disclosed by international news sites, May 24, 2011, but reportedly Alaina had sang well in the Season 10 Finale in spite of her throat problem.
According to the doctor who has seen Lauren Alaina before her performance, Alaina “blew out her vocal cords,” and would need medications to “froze her throat”.
The problem was laryngitis, an inflammation of the larynx which can cause hoarse voice or loss of voice. This can be because of overuse or infection. It could also be chronic, long-lasting or acute, shorter attacks.
The laryngitis was previously thought to affect her chances of winning the American Idol 2011 Finale. Luckily though, Lauren Alaina performed well her three songs despite her laryngitis, that had impressed the three judges. But the votes of viewers, which will be revealed on a later date, will prove whether she is indeed the American Idol 2011 Finale champion.
The Cricket World Cup finals 2011 is India vs. Sri Lanka, on April 2, 2011. The captains of both teams will meet as competitors in the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. India’s team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, together with coach Gary Kirsten, and Sachin Tendulkar are great pillars in India’s cricket team.
Sri Lanka’s team captain, Kumar Sangakkara and his team are optimistic as well, saying:

5. There are no rules for the write-ups. Writers are required to spend the full 24 hours with Orange Man and write a minute by minute story, write-up, briefs, and news written coverage or any article format, about the time spent with him.
6. A courier will collect the written coverage every hour.
7. There will be consolation prizes of $10M for every “Hour-Winner.” The writer with the highest accumulated average of all the 24 Phases will win the Jackpot of $310M.
8. Prizes will be awarded right after the contest.
9. All writers are invited except relatives up to the second degree of relationship with personnel working for AcadeEcrite Company.

American Idol says goodbye to Karen Rodriquez. The 21-year old American Idol finalist from New York received the smallest share of votes as revealed last Thursday, March 17, 2011.
With the last episode, the wanna-be superstar from New York delivered her version of Taylor Dayne’s “Love Will Lead You Back”. After knowing she had the least votes, she made a multilingual performance of Maria Carey’s “Hero”. She earned a standing ovation from the crowd for such wonderful interpretation.
The bubbly bilingual girl auditioned for American Idol to be the first Hispanic winner. Her mother reveals putting a radio on her belly while she was pregnant with Karen.
Other contenders who made it to the bottom three include Haley Reinhart and Naima Adedapo.
The remaining American Idol finalists include Casey Abrams, Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Stefano Langone, Jacob Lusk, Scotty McCreery, Paul McDonald, Thia Megia and Pia Toscano.

The final 24 American Idol finalists will start anew to compete for the ultimate title, American Idol 2011. The 12 male finalists are: Casey Abrams, Jovany Barreto, Jordan Dorsey, James Durbin, Paul McDonald, Tim Halprin, Clint Jun Gamboa, Stefano Langone, Brett Lowenstern, Jacob Lusk, Paul McDonald, Scotty McCreery and Robbie Rosen.

Blogging has been an exhilarating world for me! I had the chance to meet new friends from all over the globe and acquire new information in the process.

It is with honor and privilege that I write a post about my favorite entrecard blogger- Ken Armstrong of Ken Armstrong Writing Stuff.
I would like to enumerate the reasons in an organized fashion because there are several. This wonderful man had made my blogging life so colorful and meaningful.
I wouldn’t start the day without dropping by his blog and reading his post for the day, so without further ado here are the following reasons why Ken is my favorite entrecard blogger:
1. Ken remains the same humble and unassuming person I came to know from the time when his visitors were just a handful up to this time that he has more than a hundred readers.
He has no airs about his talents and treats everyone fairly and makes all his readers feel special. You can always count on him to help you out as often as he can. That’s a true blogger for you. A good and kind person through and through.
2. He is multi-talented; being a poet, reviewer, writer, and actor. He was able to publish a number of his theater and radio plays. He won in several writing competitions:

Winner: Dickens Museum Anniversary Short Story Competition Twice Winner: Mid and North West Radio Play
These are only some of his winning articles.
He is an actor too (Yes, he’s good looking, and only 45 years old, but he’s taken ladies, lol… sorry!) and had performed in several plays, like “One for the Road” and others.
He is also a co- writer in a short film in Channel 31 – which is scheduled for shooting in early July 2009.

3. His posts bring genuine entertainment and information to readers from all over the blogosphere. He writes about a variety of topics, from fantasy, to informative , to fiction , to movie review, to book review; name it , he can write about it with gusto and fervor. That’s a true blogger for you.
4. His blog is designed simply which reflects the man- a simple but brilliant person who infected every blogger positively with his wit and humor. He always manages to put a smile on everyone’s face. His theme/template is nothing fancy, but the true gems lie in his articles as one gets to read them.
5. He has been nominated for the Irish blog awards and I had nominated him to the Best Blogger’s Choice 09 Awards. I firmly believe he deserves both of these accolades.
This post has long been overdue. But Ken, I choose you as my “Favorite Entrecard Blogger” for the reasons stated above and for so many reasons I know I may have failed to mention.
