The auditions for Season 3 of the X Factor USA singing competition will start on March 6, 2013 at the Galen Center.
Season 2 ended with 38-year old, country singer, Tate Stevens, proclaimed as the winner. Singing powerhouse, Carly Rose Sonenclar, was the runner-up.
Simon Cowell, X Factor’s Bigwig, previously expressed, in not so many words, that X Factor is where dreams come true. Simon has also granted his approval to the X Factor Musical, saying:
Simon Cowell @SimonCowell
“The X factor musical is sensational! It’s a yes from me.”
The musical is an interesting story about a contestant’s journey on X Factor. Of course, Simon Cowell’s persona would be there, portrayed by an able artist. Would he do justice to Simon’s character? Watch out for the musical to learn about it.
X Factor is also aired in Australia, Malaysia, UK and the Philippines. Simon Cowell preferred to judge-mentor contestants in America, because, according to him, America creates ‘the best in the world.’
Singers who successfully made it after X Factor are UK 3rd placer, One Direction, who are now a popular group in the music industry in UK and abroad; American Leona Lewis, UK’s winner, James Arthur, and Philippines’ winner KZ Tandingan, to name some.
Although, judge-mentor, L.A. Reid and Britney Spears, reportedly expressed their desire of leaving the show, it is not yet officially announced whether they would, indeed , leave Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell to search for new judges.
It is easy to audition. If you are 12 years old or older, and you know how to sing, you can go for it. You could register and submit your video online. Contestants below 18 years old need a parent or guardian to register in their behalf. You can also log in using your Facebook account.
X Factor USA aims to reach more talented American singers as it opens its stage to Season 3. If you have the talent, don’t hesitate, this might be your chance of a lifetime to fulfill your dreams.
