well regarding your query, motherboards are not usually susceptible to corruption under normal circumstances. but it is possible, although not the actual motherboard becomes corrupted. What becomes corrupted is the CMOS-ROM, where the board&#039;s default settings are stored. But this only happens when you try to flash your bios and a power outage happens. This situation is a very rare to happen to average users.
