That's a very common scenario between husband and wife.

But of course the line: "I love you for no reason at all " always melts the heart.

You've got to get to know him to appreciate him. Suplado (snobbish) kasi siya , at first, but when you discover his good traits then that's the time you'll start to admire him.

I asked my husband, once, why he put up with me all these years (notice I don't ask things like "why do you love me?") – and he said, "Because you're not stupid." Notice he didn't say "because I love you," though he did hasten to add that he does.

This is a heartwarming poem. "Because loving you is itself the reason" is the perfect reason, isn't it?

You've earned this, "Don't ask me why" refrain. Nobody in his right mind has the right to make you an account of yourself.

Well, of course, your wife does and yes, your kids, too.

But us ordinary mortals who are privy to how you've become the magnificent human being that you are? We can only nod in agreement. You've earned it, Roy.

Love the way you tame your overflowing love in this poem. It's not overcooked. Love it.
